So, I say, go for it! It's worth the money. So, what do you guys think EDIT: Im looking at getting the 3DS. Can be used as content for research and analysis. I also like the bonus outfits you can get, and the choice between playing a male or a female character. Harvest Moon DS was the last game HG I actually purchased, and I was severely disappointed. Collected from the entire web and summarized to include only the most important parts of it. And I think the characters are fun and interesting. I really like the aspect of having a horse and cart you can take with you everywhere, for storage other than your rucksack. And you can switch between the towns once a season, if you get sick of/bored with one town. But you can also plant crops in Konohana, even if you live in Bluebell (you just have to travel between the two towns a couple of times a day, which is a bit tough at times, but I can tell you from experience that it's not undoable). If you're in Konohana you can only have so many animals (4 livestock and 2 chickens, I think), and if you're in Bluebell you only have so many squares for crops. My friend who has the 3DS version have said he's annoyed with having to choose between farming and livestock - and I know a lot of people have this problem as well - but I don't think it's that big of a deal. You do HAVE to cook, so if that isn't your thing, it could be a bit of a downer. So far as the actual game play, I think that it's a good game. I've heard the 3DS version tends to freeze up on occasion, but I couldn't tell you anything about that. The screen is a bit wider for the 3DS, so in that version you can see a bit more of the map, but I've heard it doesn't really have an impact on the gameplay. And, as I've read, the only difference between the two games (other than the same graphics but in 3D) is that the 3DS version has a Street Pass capability and a petting-your-pets mini game. Requires Tunnel Repair #4 to be completed (the lower tunnel pathway).I have the regular DS version (mostly because my shop didn't carry the 3DS version at the time I bought it), but I am very satisfied with it. Requires Tunnel Repair #3 to be completed (basically, the tunnel has been reconnected).Bluebell High-Mountain: Unlocks the jump mushroom to reach the area below the bridge. Requires Tunnel Repair #2 to be completed.Konohana Mid-Mountain: Unlocks the jump mushroom shortcut back up to the path. a slow-time feature, where each match is played on one of many separate tactical maps. Requires Tunnel Repair #1 to be completed.Konohana Mid-Mountain: Opens the path in the northwest corner to Konohana High-Mountain. Trying to find games like Harvest Moon 3D: The Tale of Two Towns. Konohana Mid-Mountain: Opens the lower path between Konohana Mid-Mountain and Konohana High-Mountain. The boulders are smashed in a specific order: To activate a bear event, walk into the area with the boulder between 9:00 am and 6:00 pm on a sunny day after you've completed a tunnel repair. The bears hibernate during Winter and are not available to destroy the boulders during that season. You do not have to befriend the bears to break the boulders. These rocks will be destroyed by the wild bears as you repair the tunnel between the towns. There are also large boulders that block pathways and shortcuts through the mountain area.
